  • Budget Optimization: Successfully reduced a Google Ads account's monthly spend from approximately 16,000 € to 10,000 € (a monthly saving of 6,000 €).

Personality

I would say I'm like a Swizz Army Knife, that has the means and tools to handle any given situation. I think this comes from my “can-do” attitude. With the passion to learn new things and challenge myself, I dive headfirst into challenges.

Two things make me thrive at work:

1. The opportunity to help others. It can be helping my colleagues, peers or employer achieve success.

2. Seeing my work making a difference. Whether it's with managing a project or creating something that generates results.

As a person, I would say I'm a high-energy team player, who wants to do the best for the entire team. I'm also a positive person, who likes to create a safe and positive atmosphere, where everyone can flourish.

I think I'm a hard worker and a fast learner so I get up to speed in no time. I'm also precise and kind, so it's easy to work with me as a colleague or customer.

You will find my detailed work history below, but here is the core timeline of how I got here—and what drives me:

2016: I found a passion for coaching and started a side hustle as a personal trainer. This was my first real jump into the world of digital marketing. I had to figure out how to build a website, run SEM campaigns, manage social media marketing, and learn a bunch of technical skills from scratch. That is when the spark to pursue a career in digital marketing first ignited.

2020: I started my studies at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, determined to make a definitive pivot into marketing. I graduated in 2023 with an excellent GPA of 4.43/5. I accomplished this while working full-time and raising newborn twins. It was an incredibly demanding period, but it forced me to grow immensely and proved to me what I am truly capable of achieving, even under constant stress and tight schedules.

2023: I made the full leap into the industry. I started my own digital agency to help entrepreneurs and SME businesses scale their growth through data-driven marketing (focusing on SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads).

Today: I work at Alma Media, where my role has naturally evolved from a marketing coordinator into a Marketing Manager capacity. Today, I am responsible for the overarching marketing strategies, budgeting, and performance reporting across multiple well-known services. While my own agency remains an active side hustle, my day-to-day at Alma involves steering the big picture—combining advanced digital channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, email automation) with traditional campaigns (radio, direct mail) and ensuring every euro spent is tracked, visualized, and optimized.

The name is Tommi, as you might have read above.

I'm Finnish and I live in Espoo, Finland. I can speak, write, (and think) in Finnish (Native) and English (professional). But unlike most people in Espoo, I do not speak Swedish or own a yacht...

The role of a People Advisor was an HR Generalist role where I got to do almost everything within the employee life-cycle. This included, for example, recruiting, leadership and employee support, exit conversations, project management, and internal messaging. I also launched the company TikTok channel.

As an HR Specialist, I got to work on multiple projects as a project manager. This included big projects that affected the entire staff of Lidl in Finland. I also did and managed multiple events.

As an Assistant Store Manager, I was the right hand of the Store Manager. I covered the Store Manager during absences, did recruiting, work schedules, lead the team, and other daily store routines.
